Mood board Part IV: Execution

1.   Places:      I visited numerous locations across the Reading/Wyomissing area. My first place was "GenTech" off of 422 by the Thune Trail. I was hoping to capture smog coming out of their plant but for whatever reason it was not in operation at that time. I then drove into down town Reading and captured multiple images from multiple locations.

2.   Textures:     For the textures photos I plan to visit the old train park located off Route 61 in Hamburg. I plan to capture close up images of the rusted wheels on the tracks, rusted train carriages and if I can get inside a train I hope to locate seats with the material  torn up and chewed at by rats.

3.   Objects:    With my plan to create a minimally abstract image I plan to capture images of objects that will fit into my constructed image quite smoothly. Some objects I want to capture are signs that would work well on the foundation of the bridge, a train that could look as if it were on the tracks and also a construction vehicle that I could place on the hill.

Mood board Part V: Bringing it Together

It is in my plan to either take my image of the rail road tracks or my image from inside the hallway/garage and incorporate my textures to produce a constructed image that represents industrial. I am not a fan of abstract images so I am not quite sure how I will combine my images all the meanwhile maintaining a reputable image.

I have since decided that I am leaning more towards the image of the railroad bridge from underneath as I blended the diamond plate texture into the foundation of the bride quite nicely with a minimal opacity. There are a couple options for me to place the object I just need to see how my images turn out.
